The “F” in front of the Shepadoodle refers to the generation (filial). This simply means a mixed-breed dog. While the “B” is the description that refers to bred back. Which is the level of generation you’re dealing with. Typically, it’s a poodle, however, this can also refer to the German shepherd.

The generation (F) and the (B) “bred back” play an essential role in the coat type. There are three types of doodle coats; straight, wavy, and curly.
